The Chung Family Award

DEADLINE EXTENDED: November 12, 2014 @ 4pm

The School of Business, in partnership with Camosun College Foundation, is offering one of our awards during the Fall 2014 term to eligible Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students.

The Chung Family Award - 2 @ $400

Single parent enrolled full time (three courses minimum) in the
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program in Year 1,2,3, or 4.
Letter of reference from School of Business faculty.
Must be in good academic standing with the college.

Successful candidates will be notified of their award/scholarship by mail. If your phone number or address has changed, please update with Enrollment Services or through Camlink.

Food Trucks @ Interurban Campus

ARAMARK in partnership with Camosun College Is pleased to announce Food Trucks at Interurban Campus

Food Trucks are on campus from September through April, watch for them at Lansdowne on Tuesdays and Thursdays or at Interurban on Mondays and Wednesdays. In Front of the Liz Ashton Campus Center Building!

Camosun Express

The Camosun Express is back with increased service!

Camosun ExpressFrom September 2 to December 5, 2014, and January 5 to April 10, 2015, the Camosun Express will be running from from the West Shore to Interurban and Lansdowne Campus and back to West Shore. It will provide pick up service from Langford Exchange and Six Mile Pub in the morning and drop off at the end of the day.

Throughout the day, the Camosun Express will provide intercampus travel between Interurban Campus and Lansdowne Campus, departing Interurban every hour on the half hour, starting at 7:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm, and departing Lansdowne every hour on the hour, starting at 8:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm.

There are 2 reports (Lans & Int) which provide a 7-day schedule of available classroom space. The report is updated often throughout the day to reflect any room changes.

It is recommended that students check the schedule prior to using the classroom to ensure the space is still available as availability is always subject to change.

Computer labsCentre for Business and Access (CBA) Labs are available

7 Days a week
7am - 10:30pm

CBA 220 is available for most days for student use.
Please check lab schedule, as there may be the rare booked class.

Students and faculty will be allowed access to the CBA building,
via the card swipe, on all stats, except during Christmas break.

FMIWho is FMI?

A nationally recognized, not-for-profit association, focused on best practices in financial management.  Our members are established  and aspiring managers and executives.

What is FMI Offering? - $1,000 Scholarship

The Victoria Chapter of the FMI is providing a one thousand dollar ($1,000) scholarship for which full-time students registered with the UVIC or the Camosun College are eligible to apply.

To be considered for this scholarship, interested students must submit an application by Monday, November 3, 2014.   Application packages are available from the FMI website at: http://www.fmi.ca/chapters/victoria/scholarship/ .
